Usage of PyHoca-CLI (X2go command line client)

PyHoca-CLI is a client implementation for X2go using the project's Python API (module) Python-X2go. PyHoca-CLI can be operated completely from the command line and the goal is to reflect the full functionality spectrum of Python-X2go.

PyHoca-CLI Command Line Arguments

PyHoca-CLI has a wiki page. An always up-to-date html version can be be retrieved from the X2go Git repository: man pyhoca-cli

- -password xxxxxxxx

where: xxxxxxxx is your password

Security Note PyHoca does not transmit or send your Password to the desktop server as clear text.

Starting PyHoca

PyHoca-CLI is similar to the Linux rdesktop command/program. rdesktop is a Linux remote desktop client used to connect to Windows machines.

To start PyHoca open a Terminal window and execute the command:

  • $ pyhoca-cli - -password xxxxxxxx

Future features Roadmap
