Donations Welcome / New Sponsorship Drive

X2Go is a project under the umbrella of the Open Remote Computing Association - orca e.V. - a registered association under Germanys Civil Code and also registered as a charitable organization, similar to a 501(c)(3) organization in the US. As such, it is not only possible to donate money to X2Go via orca e.V., but the donations are also tax deductible for German tax subjects.

There is currently one upcoming sponsorship drives:

• Between Tuesday, 2023-04-04, 09:00 CEST, and Thurday, 2023-04-06, 23:59 CEST, the Commercial and Savings Bank Ulm will distribute 10 000 Euro across the projects receiving the most donations in that timeframe. The amount of donations decides how much of the 10 000 Euro end up on our account.

The sponsorship drives work in favor of donations directly toward the project as well as for donations towards a specific need (see below).
