==== Data Protection and Privacy Statement ====

This statement applies to all web pages hosted on the domains x2go.org, including all of their subdomains. We have switched off the CustomLog of the apache vhost wiki.x2go.org. Nevertheless, if your browsersession will create errors, you 

  * IP Adress
  * Date of Access
  * User Agent
  * Visited URL

are being recorded in an error log file by the projects own server. The justification for this is article 6, (1) b) of the [[https://www.eugdpr.org/|GDPR]]. As per the definition in article 28 of the GDPR, the project itself is the data processor. Furthermore the project has entered a written contractual agreement with hetzner online GmbH, our server homing company.
Our use of this data is limited to occasional error analysis, and to review suspected abuse of our services. We do not share this data with third parties, nor do we use it for other purposes.

Additionally, we do not use external tracking tools like Google Analytics or similar. Cookies are used by dokuwiki to authenticate an user session and is only used by this wiki software. If you have questions regarding data protection and privacy issues on x2go.org, please contact us via one of the addresses listed on our Imprint/Contact page.

If you contact us, we reserve the right to store all data you submitted to us in our systems as justified by article 6, (1) a) and/or b) and/or c) of the [[https://www.eugdpr.org/|GDPR]]. If you do not agree to this, and wish to have your data deleted, please notify us immediately. Note that we may be legally obliged to keep part or all of your data for a certain amount of time, and, in such cases, can only honor your request after that time has elapsed. In the meantime, we will treat your deletion request as a request to not pass your data on to any third parties.
