 We are evaluating X2Go and intend to use it as an alternative remote desktop solution with single applications that are custom-made for JPL.  X2Go provides our users with a secure and fast remote solution between systems.  X2Go meets those needs with its use of the NX technology protocol which provides secure standalone remote sessions via ssh.  Users are able to run graphical applications on their Linux workstations securely and without compromising performance when working remotely.
